 Hi my name is Terry Bachelor. I have spent the last thirty years servicing copy machines. Over the last few months copiers have evolved into the digital era becoming capable of being networked. This mean as a technician, I had to upgrade my knowledge of networks and their capabilities. I found the technology to be fascinating and decided to see if I could transition into this industry. I was some what fearful of the tasks, as I am 60 years old. Can you teach an old dog new tricks?
The training however, although quite fast paced, was both interesting and exciting. The people here at CyberTex were always ready and willing to jump in and help where ever I needed. I was blessed to have a great instructor, Bill Fleming. His knowledge and background in information technology is very extensive. His presentation of the class materials and his personal knowledge of the industry were all invaluable. I have achieved so far my A+, Net+, and MCSA and very soon I will be able to add MCSE to my list of achievements. I am not sure yet what new opportunities are available for a senior citizen but one thing is for sure; “This old dog has learned a few new tricks”.
 Hi, my name is Anthony Hall and I just want to thank Cybertex staff and teachers for the IT training I received. This will help me get a job that I can now make a living. Before I started here I was working temp jobs and getting no where, so I stopped and said to myself there has to be something better. One day as I was driving by Cybertex I decided to stop and check it out. I'm glad I did it was the best thing I ever did and it was worth it now I'm getting a real job thanks guys.

 This was a different learning experience in a field I had no idea how to proceed. My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t succeed in this field, but I have learned a lot. My instructor Tim Pullan is a really good instructor. Tim explained in more detail than what the books says. The training that I have will lead me to a good job, and I hope I will go far in this field.

 Before I came to CyberTex, I was stuck working minimum wage jobs while trying to put myself through college. I decided to take a chance after learning all the things that the education from CyberTex could do for me. I had taken a few computer classes through college, so I figured it would be easy to get my certifications and move on. To my surprise, while attending class I came to learn that I didn’t know as much as I thought I had. However, the faculty at CyberTex taught me everything I needed to know. I was able to get great hands on experience through labs, and able to learn much more than the textbook had to offer. I’ve learned more in the past 3 months than I have in the past 5 years, and it’s only the beginning! I plan to come back for my CCNA.

 I came to CyberTex with no previous experience in the Computer or IT field. The family atmosphere really helped me grasp how computers work and how to keep them running. I received my A+ Certification and I’m well on my way to being MCSA Certified. The instructors were always willing to answer all of my questions.  I recently relocated from a different state to Austin, TX. I already had an associates degree in computer networking, but I didn’t possess any certifications. So, I decided to enroll in the certification classes at CyberTex and through few months of training I earned my A+, MCP, MCSA, and MCSE certifications. I want to thank my instructor Tim Pullan for all of his invaluable efforts. He is very knowledgeable about all the materials covered for the certifications. I now possess all the skills and abilities needed to not just get a job but to actually have a career. These certifications are opening doors for me that I thought were closed.

My Name is Laurie and I am writing this letter to tell everyone about my complete wonderful experience with CyberTex Institute of Technology. If you are here to decide if this is the right choice for you, let me be clear: Sign Up Now! Marissa is an excellent instructor. She will make you feel at ease while teaching you everything you need to know to get a terrific job. She makes the class fun and exciting, and you will look forward to the time you spend with her. She explains things in a way that everyone can understand, and she makes learning fun.
When I first walked into CIT, I was nervous and unsure if I could do this. It seemed hard and unknown territory was not my favorite place to be. I had been laid off once again from yet another manufacturing company who sent all the work overseas, and left the American production work high and dry. I needed to find something that would stay here and employ locally. CIT Explained to me that the medical field is in high demand and they are always looking for good people to work in the many offices and hospitals we have locally. They showed me the local pay ranges for office assistant and billing and coding staff. It was at least 30% more than I was making in the manufacturing field, and that was just to start.
Terry then trained us all to present ourselves in an interview, and how to land that job! We practiced interviews and learned the right and wrong things to say, and now I have PROOF that this training works! How? I finished my certification test on Thursday, after coming from an interview that the CIT job placement staff arranged for me. By the next Wednesday, not even one week after our last class day, I went to work of a Pediatrics office less than 1 mile from my house. And they started me, fresh out of school, at an amazing $12 an hour! Think about it. What will I be making 1 year from now? How about 5 years from now? This was the best thing I ever did for my family. I have more than just an income, I now have a new career, and I am making more money than I ever had. Oh…did I tell you I am in my 40’s? I always heard it’s never too late to go back to school, and now I believe it! You will only regret NOT Getting this training.

 By not having a bachelors or masters degree in the computer field I could not land a well paying, long-term career even though I have prior experience in computers electronics from the U.S. Air force. I thought there was no chance of getting ahead but to enroll in to a big university like U.T.
One day while on the internet a friend told me about this program to train, certify and place people in to jobs. I went there and they told me about CyberTex Institute of Technology. CyberTex has provided me with a fantastic opportunity to find a long-term career in a field I not only love but one I can excel in. In addition to having just received my A+, NET+, and MCSA certifications, I plan to come back and work on my CCNA and Security+ certifications as well later this year.

 In my situation, I was working odd jobs and not getting paid what I needed. So I took a leap of faith with Cybertex and it paid off. My fears were that I was not going to understand, but my instructor did a good job at making sure I understood every topic in the class.
I really liked everyone in my class, they were funny and they made the course interesting and fun. The instructor was cool and he even had the study material for the class on our computers for us to study; now I am able to make good money without having my back strained.
